Class Cancellations and Updates: The Sacred in the Profane and Our Daily Lives: From Tanach, Jewish Philosophy, and Poetry with Marion Peterson has been cancelled. |
From High Holy Days to high tech, this is a very special week of coming together across town and across generations to rediscover and celebrate Judaism, and to gain new insights about God, Torah and the Jewish people. Explore what being Jewish means in the 21st century where we can combine age old traditions and cutting-edge technology. This annual community-wide education experience, created for all backgrounds and affiliations, offers 55 extraordinary classes designed to bring about rich and meaningful dialogue about Judaism. The program is created to renew your interest in Jewish learning while reaffirming, or even redefining, what it means to be a Jew. No matter how many sessions you choose to attend, you will want to include our inspiring and entertaining keynote event, featuring Rabbi David Wolpe, named the #1 pulpit rabbi in America by Newsweek Magazine. A one-time fee of $18 applies, whether you choose to attend one learning session or multiple sessions throughout the week. However, this fee does not cover the costs of LearningFest. If you would like to be a partner in this exceptional event, please refer to the registration page to choose a higher gift level. You are welcome to bring sack lunches or dinners.
For more information about this event, please contact LearningFest Coordinator Melissa Bernstein at 214-239-7134 or email mbernstein@jfgd.org. |
